I learned so much during our exchange program with the School of the Hamburg Ballet this summer. It was very special to experience ballet training in a new country, the dedication of both the students and the staff at this school was clear to see. Being surrounded by the unique atmosphere produced by the school's relationship with the Hamburg Ballet was truly inspiring.

My exchange at the School of the Hamburg Ballet was truly exceptional. I was exposed to incredibly insightful and supportive teachers who have provided me with valuable feedback to further my growth as a dancer. I also had the wonderful opportunity of watching some company rehearsals, which was both extremely exciting and inspiring. The entire experience was very uplifting, especially because we all shared one common passion – dance! I will continue to cherish the memories that I have made at the School of the Hamburg Ballet as well as the teachers, staff and students who helped make the experience truly remarkable.

It was so valuable to experience the exchange program of the School of the Hamburg Ballet this summer. Visiting at the beginning of the school year allowed for a great introduction to the school's unique vision. Learning Mr. Neumeier's Nutcracker choreography had a big impact on me since he is a living choreographer, and it was very special to learn a piece from the Hamburg Ballet's current repertoire. In addition, observing Mr. Neumeier's rehearsals with the Hamburg Ballet has taught me so much about the dynamics and traditions of a professional ballet company.

My summer exchange with the School of the Hamburg Ballet was such a rewarding and memorable experience. I was so grateful to be welcomed into an incredibly friendly and warm atmosphere; it truly felt like a home away from home. Despite the fact that we all came from several different countries, we were quickly able to form lasting bonds over our mutual love of dance. Additionally, having the opportunity to learn from a variety of amazing teachers was such a gift. Through their guidance and different perspectives, I felt as though I was able to further express my artistry as well as enhance the overall quality of movement in my dancing. This encouraged me to grow as a dancer, and push beyond my goals. I absolutely loved every moment spent in this beautiful school, and I will forever cherish the teachers, staff, and students that made it such a special place.

Training at the School of the Hamburg Ballet this summer was truly a wonderful adventure. It was so great to get to experience another school, and to see all of the small differences in the details of ballet, that are so easily missed from afar, and can easily go unnoticed after some time under the same school. Having this opportunity to learn from new teachers, and new classmates, all so completely invested in their art, was truly inspiring, and something that has taught me so much to bring home. This summer exchange will be something that I remember fondly, and with much gratitude towards all of the people that made it happen, for the rest of my life.
